Pringle of Scotland had some great basics. Their ‘woolwear’ was especially well out together. However from their edgy adverts featuring Daisy Lowe I expected a little more from them in terms of individuality. However it was a well brought together collection.
D&G were never going to tone down their show for this season. The credit crunch doesn’t seem to affect the massive houses of fashion. They used a variety of rich colours through out the collection. I especially love the black and fuchsia, they compliment each other wonderfully. They have obviously have fallen in love with Marylin Monroe as she features greatly throughout the collection.
Iceberg brought a collection which was full of power dressing. They seemed to get the body con power dresses bang on. And with the use of a splash of a bright colour they brought their collection alive. The coats were special pieces through out the collection, my favourite was second from the left, it would look great with a skinny bottom half.
Dsquared2 seemed to be speaking to the ‘girls about town’ and the socialites of the world. As the models were seen walking down the runway phone, coffee and magazines in hand. It may have been abit of a pisstake but I have to say I loved the collection. The layers and various materials look amazing together and it looks exactly like something I’d love to through on for a day out shopping. The cream silk skirt is magical and I love the way it floated down the runway.
