I was thinking of more films I can look at and of course everyone remembers The Addams Family. The gothic family were immediately lovable and I particularly love the dry nature of Wednesday Addams played by a young Christina Ricci. Her sense of style seems to be seriously in vogue this season.
I took a look at how you could work the Wednesday look - but with a grown-up twist. I love this dress from Sister Jane at ASOS - it's also in the sale at the moment so now is the time to snap it up. To make sure this look isn't too girlie I paired it with these platform boots - I imagine Wednesday would approve. Any girl knows her look isn't complete without a perfect manicure, Wednesday is no different. This nail paint by Barry M, in the colour Red Wine, would be perfect. We all know how mischevious the Addams family were, so I thought I'd complete the look with this necklace complete with vial of posion. You can pick up some great ones on Etsy.

That dress is amazing. Gorgeous styled with them shoes. I loved Wednesday Addams as a child. I dressed up as her every hallowe'en.

I love these Fashion In Film posts you do...they are so interesting! I always have fantasies about looking like my favourite fictional film characters anyway because yes, I'm that sad. And Wednesday is right up there in the fictional top ten list. I love everything that girl wears...we all know this is were Alexa got the inspiration for her peter pan collars!
