It's that time again - London Fashion Week. Which means my mind wanders to what I will be wearing this season. I'm afraid I really can't afford all the designer labels you see on the cobbles at Somerset House - I'll be flying the flag for the high-street. I've based both of my outfits on newly acquired shoes - the jade green ones were sent to me by Nelly.
The first outfit above features the high-tops from River Island - I just can't afford the real deal, but I think these are a great substitute. I'll be teaming mine with a pair of skinny leather trousers and a statement t-shirt. I love the skull scarf print on this Kooples t-shirt - this might have to be one of my splurges before I go. This will be great for a day where I want to be comfy but stylish - I set aside a day to go street style scouring, so it's important I'm wearing something I can go running around in.
The second outfit is based around these lovely Nelly shoes - a bit wobbly to walk in though. Might have to practice if I have to try navigate around Somerset House. I thought this purse from Zara was such a bargain for a fully studded piece and matches the rose gold on the heels nicely. I've teamed them up with this pastel floral t-shirt and floaty skirt - this outfit has more of a girlie vibe but still has a bit of an edge with the rose gold hardware.
