Trying out a new post – something I’m going to be doing at the end of every month from now on. I like to know a little bit more about the blogger behind the blog. Music and literature play a big part in my life so I thought I would add it into this post as a permanent feature.
Currently listening to…
Charlie Simpson, Young Pilgrim – I have had this album for a while now but I can not stop listening to it lately. Down, Down, Down and Sundown have to be my favourite tracks. This album seems to be able to lend itself to any mood – great for writing blog posts or simply relaxing on a sunday. Are any of you fans of Charlie?
Currently wearing…
I love this bracelet I got from work. It goes with so many different outfits (I’m sure you’ve spotted it on here before now) and adds a point of interest. In fact I think it looks great with this jacket!
Currently reading…
Caitlin Moran, How to be a woman – I recently downloaded this book after hearing many good things from other people. I’ll let you know how I get on – it is appropriate for me to be reading this at the moment as I am working on a post about fashion and feminism.
Currently using…
I received this mini brow rescue kit from Tweezerman at the Leeds Blogger Meet Up. I’m a big believer in a strong brow – these are perfect to throw in your bag for on the go touch-ups.
After hearing so much about the Revlon Just Bitten Balms, I had to try one for myself. I picked up this one in Crush and I love it. I often have issues with dry lips and some lip products can look cakey. This one does the job and smells great too.
Current DIY…
This ‘current’ will change month on month. I just dug this out of my wardrobe – I actually used to wear this in high school. With the re-emergence of the army trend I thought I would bring it up to date. I’m looking to replace the buttons and add on some studs. Would anyone be interested in seeing the DIY process?
