I was lucky enough to get to see the Manuela Dack presentation at Vauxhall Fashion Scout. Manuela has been taught by the likes of Marios Schwab and Ben Kirchhoff - she also has worked with Alexander Wang. All this experience added up to a very polished collection. Her Caribbean roots were apparent in this collection with traditional palm weaving with a modern twist. I loved the clean feel to the whole collection but also picked up on a relaxed vibe which no doubt comes from its Caribbean connection. The make-up and hair with natural with a hint of 'I don't care' - the kind of look that doesn't take long to achieve but looks oh so good.

I focused in on the detail - I loved the beading on this kimono style dress. All the ladies were decked out in jelly shoes - if you're a child of the nineties you'll remember these. I loved the detail of the sparkly heel, I think I will be getting myself a pair of these next spring/summer. The top above also had some really gorgeous detail which turns what could be a plain slouch top into something a little more special.
beautiful looks! would you like to follow each other in gfc? let me know! http://xxxloveisbeautyxxx.blogspot.ie/
