Yesterday I popped along for my Personal Shopping experience at the new Topshop in Leeds - I know two posts about this in one week but it is awesome, Leeds doesn't ever get a large store like this. My appointment was with the lovely Emily - who looked amazing by the way, kicking myself now that I didn't get a picture of her.
When you get there you can sit down and have a cuppa while they put the finishing touches to your room and then all is revealed. I must say Emily had really got my style right, lots of leather and rich colours. I was looking for some smart tailoring too, as I feel my style as evolved a little lately and I want to look a little more grown up. As you can see your clothes are hung on the wall and on rails for you to have a look at. We went for a quick floor walk to see if there was anything else I had my eye on - then back to try some outfits on.
So here are a couple of outfits I tried on - the print suit is something I've wanted for a while. Emily encouraged me to try it and I'm so glad I did. I think the matching suit combination looks amazing but I've never been brave enough to take the plunge. The good thing about this is that you can also use them as separates. We swapped out this t-shirt for a lace black vest - I didn't get a picture of that but you can see it below. The dress and cat eye t-shirt combination was something I really wasn't sure on. The dress isn't something I would ever pick up to try on but with a little encouragement again I tried it out. I have to say it looked really flattering and I guess my legs didn't look too bad - all the lovely personal shoppers said I was rocking it which made me feel great. I really recommend this service to anyone - whether it be for a wardrobe overhaul or an outfit for a special event. The girls really go out of their way to make sure you have an awesome experience.
Below you can see everything I bought - I was fortunate enough to get a discount on these which I have to thank the lovely Holly from Topshop Press Office for. As you can see I got the boots from my previous post - I'm in love! I ended up with 8 items, the boots and a necklace. I feel like I'll get loads of different outfits out of these pieces - watch this space for their blog debut.
