High Street Edit: Spring/Summer 2013

With the new collections hitting the high street already I've been keeping my eye out for what is on offer. For this High Street Edit I'm looking at three separate trends and how three high-street shops have translated them for SS13. 

WHITE

Possibly the scariest trend of all, this isn't a trend for the messy amongst us. However white is the colour of the season but don't worry you don't have to go top to toe white. You could change an outfit with white accessories. I put together this very 90's inspired white outfit from Topshop - I love these boots, think they might be a must buy in the very near future.    

 

Stripes

Jonathan Saunders' bold graphic stripes were a real hit last season. I must say I lost count of the amount of stripes I saw on the catwalk last season. I loved this bold striped dress from H&M -I teamed it with a pair of lady like heels and 'a H&M does Celine' bag. This would be the perfect look for the office in SS13. 

Frills
Balenciaga pummed up the frills to the max - you can find a great copy-cats at Zara. This would be a perfect evening look. This is a trend which if done right can look so sophisticated. A simple dress like this one is a perfect way to try out the trend.
