Beauty: Top 10 Beauty Essentials London Fashion Week

london fashion week beauty essentials

London Fashion Week can be notoriously hard for us mere mortals – running from show to show can take its toll on your skin and hair. I have put together a little kit to get you through the day.
I have jumped on the bandwagon and bought the Apocalips in Luna by Rimmel – a moisturising lip product with a bit of colour is just what you need to brighten your face between shows. I also use this Scandal Eyes eyeliner by Rimmel in Nude – I apply this to the corner of my eyes to brighten them after a long day. This could take you from day to night when you are hitting those fashion parties.
The Body Shop BB cream is one of the best I have come across, it comes out a little darker but now I have such dark hair is works better and makes sure I don’t look washed out. This is a buildable product meaning you add to it through out the day depending on when you need it. Mine is in shade 01. I think these ELF Shine Eraser sheets are an essential, I always get an oily T-zone (tmi?) and I find that I can use these instead of applying more makeup. Another great pick me up between shows is the Liz Earle Skin Tonic – I find the London air can dry out my skin and this gives it the nourishment it needs.
Speaking of nourishment, don’t forget your hands. I love Hand Food by Soap & Glory, it has a great scent and soaks into your hands in seconds. It will feel like a little bit of luxury for those hands after snapping away on the cobbles.
Of course it it also great to carry your favourite scent around with you – I have this little sample from Elie Saab. I love the smell, its sweet without being overpowering, perfect for making the right impression on all those new people you’ll be rubbing shoulders with. To finish off your look on the go you will need your Tangle Teezer and this VO5 Ultimate Hold hairspray to make sure you barnet doesn’t budge all day.
