Beauty: My Everyday FaceSunday, 31 March 2013
I thought I would do a post about my everyday makeup look. When I'm leaving the house for work at 10 to 8 everyday I want my makeup routine to be fairly minimal and to take the least amount of time possible. Most of my makeup for day to day is inexpensive but I love all the above products.
Rimmel Match Perfection in Ivory
I was first given this by Rimmel at London Fashion Week last September. I love this foundation! Its a great consistency and is really buildable. I often found that my skin couldn't get on with any foundation on a day to day basis but this stays on and doesn't look cakey.
Rimmel Scandal Eyes in Nude
I use this in the corners of my eyes and on my waterline to keep me looking a little more awake after all those early mornings. I've found before that light colour kohl pencils can be a bit rubbish but this one works wonders.
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair
I must admit I'm new to the world of concealers but after reading so many rave reviews about this product I thought I'd take the plunge. I've had trouble with my skin again lately so this is great for covering up all those problem areas.
Elf Eyebrow Kit in Medium
I'm on my second one of these now, I love a strong brow so this is perfect for filling them in and keeping them in check.
Illamasqua Loose Powder
I have fairly oil skin so I much prefer a matte face. This is a great loose powder and keeps my face matte all day. It smells divine too.
Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze
I don't always wear colour on my eyes everyday but if I feel like it I'll use this as it takes around 30 secs to add some colour to your eye.
Eyelash Curlers and Maxfactor Masterpiece Max in Black
I always curl my lashes before applying my mascara. I picked up these curlers from Asda - they came with a little tool for grooming your eyebrows. I really like this travel size mascara from Maxfactor, it separates, lengthens and is easy to pop in my bag fr application on the go.
Body Shop Bronzer in Warm Glow
I use this on my cheek, temples and lower jaw to define and add a little glow. I use a fairly light foundation so I don't want to look completely washed out. This is a great way to bring a little warmth back to my skin.
