In The Spotilight: Pure HeritageTuesday, 19 March 2013
Last week I was invited to view a collection from new brand Pure Heritage - I asked them so questions afterwards to find out a little bit more about the label.
What inspired you to set up this label?
My partner Becky and I love fashion, especially vintage. We also love shopping so thought this was the perfect way to combine our two loves! Vintage clothes are more appealing to us as we love finding unique pieces which you can not buy anywhere else. All of our products are hand picked and original.
What is your favourite era to source vintage from?
We love all era's but our favourite has to be the 60's or 70's. Pieces from this era never go out of fashion and look fab for every occasion whether it is a mini dress for a night out or 70's flares for a casual daytime look. We also love a good 80's piece when teamed with the right clothes.
Do you intend to expand your 'new' designs section?
We will expand our new designs range, we currently stock Savanna Morrish products however we are looking to also develop a Pure Heritage new designs section. This is something we hope to develop Summertime this year.
Where do you see your label in 5 years time?
We would like Pure Heritage to be a well known vintage brand in five years time. Vintage will always be our core product however when we develop our own styles we hope Pure Heritage will also take off as a fashion label. Eventually we would like to have a Pure Heritage shop so Leeds watch out!
