Fashion Fling Trend Challenge Take Two: McArutherGlen Designer Outlets‏

You may remember last Saturday I posted my first part of the Fashion Fling Challenge in association with McArutherGlen Designer Outlets. I had to work a lovely yellow Ted Baker Bag into three different outfits. The last day of their Fashion Fling is tomorrow so get down to your nearest outlet and see what’s going on.
This week I have been given the more difficult challenge of styling a pair of Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses with the same three situations in mind. This was a little more difficult I must admit as you really don’t have much of a starting point – I gave it a go, how do you think I did?

Work Outfit

Most people wouldn’t wear this to work – but in my job I don’t really have a strict dress code. I thought for summer these bright crops from Zara and this denim shirt from La Redoute would be perfect. I have teamed them with these studded loafers from River Island.  I think on my walk to work I would have to put these lovely glasses on to shield my eyes.

Shopping Outfit

For a shopping trip you need to be comfy for all that walking around you do. I have this ‘initials’ top from Topshop paired up with my new sample sale bargain jeans from work. I thought I’d wear my converse with this outfit – the sunglasses give it a little extra something. Sorry for my ‘moody teenager’ pose here.

Going Out Outfit

I can imagine spending the evening out in a nice hot country wearing this dress from Topshop, my Primark heels and bag. Of course I would need the shades to complete the outfit. I really liked the cut-out aspect to this dress – it makes it a little more interest. I thought I’d give you a close up of the sunglasses too, they are quite big and aren’t something I’d normally go for but I think they actually suit me. What do you think?
