In The Spotlight: Celia Birtwell for Uniqlo

Celia Birtwell for Uniqlo

The Celia Birtwell for Uniqlo collection has been on my radar for quite a while - having seen a post by the lovely Carrie over on Wish Wish Wish. So when I was asked to choose a piece I knew exactly what I would choose. The uniqlo shirts in this collection had some amazing prints, I went for this navy and white star print shirt. I also really loved the floral wallpaper style print.
The good thing about shirts like these is that they are so verstaille, I must admit I earn lots of them for this reason. You can wear them with jeans and look instantly stylish. Or wear them underneath something like I did here to create some interested to a plain outfit. I teamed mine up with my dungaree dress from George at Asda and my nighthalke style boots.
The great thing about this collection is the price point is so low - proving you don't have to spend a fortune to look stylish. I'll be buying the printed pyjama pants next, I would love another of the shirts but at the time I'm writing this they have all sold out. Get yourself a piece before everything is gone.
If you do grab yourself a piece make sure you put your picture on twitter or Instagram and take the picture with #styledincelia - you could win a whole range of prizes including a runners up prize of 'Celia Birtwell by Celia Birtwell with Dominic Lutyens (published by Quadrille, RRP £30 hardback).'
