Review: Illamasqua Freak PerfumeMonday, 8 April 2013
I've been wanting this perfume for so long now. I kept going in Illamasqua and asking for samples. So when Debenhams offered to send me this beauty I jumped at the chance - the is the second part of my Illamasqua haul.
Illamasqua Freak is such a rich smelling perfume which I feel is a very unisex style scent. It can smell very much like aftershave - I've found myself liking men's fragrances over women's many times. Having said this though I think it is quite a 'secy' fragrence and I think it really captures Illamasqua as a brand. The Top notes include black davana, opium flower and Belladonna. At the heart Posion Hemlock, Dature and Queen of the Night blossom. The base notes include aromas of Frankincense, Oud and Myrrh.
I really like the bottle too and the snail motif that all the bottles carry in one way or another. The big bottle actually has one of the these little fellas sliding up the side of the bottle. All in all I think this is a great signiture perfume that I will be repurchasing time and time again.
