Supermarkets are a great place to find affordable fashion. I tend to go for things that look more expensive than they actually are. Try to stay away from the throw away fashion pieces and stick to things that will fit into your existing wardrobe. Hands up who feels secretly smug when you get complimented on a supermarket purchase?
I was approached by F&F to pick out an outfit – I must admit I haven’t bought much from them before. They aren’t local to me but I’ve seen some lovely things in their recent adverts. I picked out this polka dot shirt, white satchel bag and black flatforms. I thought these pieces would work with other items I already have – I’ve already worn the shirt for work, it looks great with trousers or a skirt.
I love this little white bag – it fits all the essentials in. I like that you can wear it too different ways too. The flatforms are going to take some getting used to – I think I tripped a couple of times while trying them on. After half an hour in them though I was fine. I’m planning on wearing this shirt over a plain black dress with sandals for the summer. As you can see today was extremely sunny, so I was struggling to focus on the camera. I spent my bank holiday in York shopping with my mum, I picked up some exciting stuff which I’ll share soon.
