I’ve being enjoying listening to Jay-Z’s news release, Magna Carta… Holy Grail. Anyone who names a song after Tom Ford is alright in my book. After Rock I think Rap is my next favourite music genre. I have whole afternoons where I clean my room to Rap music – may sound strange but it helps me get sh*t done!

I’m really loving the whole 90s/Grunge revival at the moment and I’m happy to see lots of tartan on the high street. I picked up this lovely little tartan kilt in George @ Asda. I really do recommend checking out supermarkets for the occasional bargain. They have such a high turn around with their trends that they are usually right on the money with what is popular now.

I’ve heard a lot about this book, The Vogue Factor by Kirstie Clements in which she documents life behind the scenes in the fashion industry. Kirstie was famously sacked from her position as Australian Vogue’s Editor-In-Chief – it really is worth a read for anyone wanting a warts and all account which exposes the good and bad in the industry.

I had a makeover at MAC earlier this month and went for a fairly traditional pin-up look. The make-up artist used MAC’s Ruby-Woo on me and it’s been my go to shade ever since. I really do believe that this is a red to suit everyone! It’s really matte too which I do like in a lipstick.
I’ve really been loving this label.m dry shampoo, I spray at my roots and move it through my hair with my hands. I like the smell and it doesn’t leave that residue that so many others seem to leave behind.
