New York: Hell's KitchenWednesday, 11 September 2013
There are so many places to eat in New York - you will find all the tourist places around Time Square. If you really want some great food though I suggest you go to Hell's Kitchen - this is the area in Manhattan which is famous for its food. A few people on twitter said they'd like to see some recommendations of things to do while in the Big Apple so I thought I'd kick off with a restaurant round up. I'm not a food critic of course, so these are just short recommendations.

If you are a pasta fan this is the place for you. I had a spinach and ricotta ravioli and my mum went for the lasagne. It's a traditional Italian and a really nice setting so try and stop by if you can.
This is the place to come for pizza - the base is so fluffy and light. They use some great toppings which you might not find elsewhere. Their specials board is also something not to miss. they have a really nice outside space to eat, great if the weather is on your side.
Yum Yum Thai
I had the Chicken with cashew nuts here and it was amazing. Great flavours and good portions. I have found some Thai restaurants to have pretty small portions before. The staff were really friendly too. Happy hour runs until 7pm - get there early for a $5 glass of wine.
