High Street Edit: Sports Luxe

There is a real influx of luxury sportswear pieces on the high street right now. With every shop getting their new Spring/Summer collections in there are a feast of new clothes to behold.

I might be slightly biased because I work at La Redoute but I'm ridiculously excited about the new
Cédric Charlier collection - modeled by the beautiful Stella Tennant. This silk colour block dress is my favourite piece in the collection for me. I love the simplicity of it, I'm looking forward to wearing it in spring with bare legs.
I thought this monochrome clutch bag from ASOS was the perfect partner to this dress. I love that it has some structure to it - the 3D element really drew me to it. Also the fact that this clutch is real leather means it will last you a long time.

I loved this mesh jacket from Zara - they have some great outerwear in their new collection. I think this would look great layered over the dress, the slogan and number on the back will add a little something extra too.
Lastly although I'd wear this dress with heels to go out in, I don't always want to keep pieces like this for best. I like to dress things down so I get more wear out of them. I thought these snakeskin slip-ons from Topshop would be the perfect shoe for this look. They'd be really comfy and also make your outfit more casual for the day.

  1. I really like the dress. I'm not sure how I feel about the sports luxe trend that seems to re-appear every spring/summer. The other day I think I caught something on Daybreak that said tracksuit bottoms were going to be big this season. I've not seen any on the high street yet (thank god) as most of the sale stock is still loitering about. But I like the pieces you've selected for this little edit.
