Review: Christophe Robin

hair products review
I was sent this scrub from Look Fantastic - Christophe Robin isn't a brand I've heard of before but I'm always keen to try new products. My hair is getting increasingly long and it needs some rigorous haircare to keep it looking healthy.

My body has a tendency to show stress on the outside, whether it be a spot or through my scalp. Sometimes I can get peeling around my hairline which can be rather annoying. So it made sense to use this to give it a helping hand. For sensitive and oily scalps, this scrub keeps your hair looking cleaner for longer. It's great to use after dying your hair too as it gets rid of all the left over chemicals.

I started by washing my hair with my usual shampoo and once this was all washed out I scooped out a tablespoon sized amount of product. The sea salt starts out as fairly big granules but it soon dissolves as you work it into your scalp. Add more water to work it into a rich lather, concentrate on working it into your scalp and around the nape of your neck. After this make sure you rinse it thoroughly to get out all of the left over product. After I'd done this my hair made a satisfying squeak it was so clean!  I think I'm going to make a real effort to use this once a week, just to give my scalp a helping hand.

  1. Hi Laura,
I am a huge fan of this product too, but you should use it directly as a shampoo, no need to wash your hair first, just wet your hair and apply directly the scrub. I have very long hair too, so I use a mask to detangle my hair after.
