I’ll be heading down to Leeds University’s Charity RAG fashion show this Thursday night – the show entitled Wanderlust, takes inspiration from exploratory travel, exotic environments and natural landscapes. With designers such as Bo Carter and retailer giants like ASOS involved its bound to be a fantastic show. This blog post shows off a very special American Apparel photoshoot that LRFS did to show off some of the pieces we may see on the catwalk.
The great thing about this show, other than the fashion, is that the whole thing is in aid of two very deserving charities. The first being SARSVL (Support After Rape & Sexual Violence Leeds) – an organisation that were set up to help women affected by sexual violence at any point in their lives. I’m sure you’ve seen a sticker of theirs in the toilets on a night out around Leeds – great charity supporting women in need. The second is SUDEP Action, a national charity that are raising awareness of Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy and supporting the bereaved. It can be a confusing time for those left behind, so I really admire them for supporting families and friends too.
