London Fashion Week: Outfit Planning

We all know the circus that surrounds fashion week - I start planning what I'm going to wear a few days before and I ALWAYS pack too much. Lets face it, it's fashion week and you want to look your best in case you get snapped for a street style blog. No one wants to be caught running into a show looking like you've been dragged through a hedge backwards.

I've had my eye on this M&S two-piece for a while. I'm always looking for something that makes a little bit of an impact and I think these would do the job. The combination of the high waisted trousers and cropped top show the optimum amount of skin - I don't have abs of steel so a sliver will do.
Lets face it it's going to be mighty cold next week, so I need a good coat to throw around my shoulders. I loved this bright green boyfriend-fit coat from Zara, it will keep me warm between shows.
With these trousers being cropped and me being quite small, I needed to team them up with some heels. I picked out these nude chunky heels from Kurt Geiger - these are a great classic show to have in your wardrobe. These shoes will go with absolutely anything and the chunky heel will hopefully mean a comfy shoe.
I thought this semi-sheer clutch bag from Topshop would be the perfect finishing accessory. Just big enough to fit in show invites, phone and your lipstick.

  3. How the hell is that suit from M&S?! They've done so well over the past few seasons, you've really got to give it to them. xx Rebecca - UK Style Blog

  4. Wowza, I love the floral set from M&S - an unexpected surprise! I love the green colour scheme that runs through this outfit, always so fresh and reminds me of spring. I'd love to have the Zara coat - it looks so warm!
