Review: Liz Earle Eyebright

liz earle
Anyone who has been a reader for a while will know that I'm a big fan of Liz Earle. My skin can be quite sensitive so I need products that won't aggravate it. What I love about shopping in Liz Earle, other than the service, is the free gift you get with purchase. It's actually a size you can use too, some shops or counters seem to give you the smallest amounts of product that won't give you a true indication of whether you want to buy the product or not.

I decided to go for something I'd never tried before and opted for the Eyebright soothing eye lotion. Working on computers all day long (and then coming home and blogging) can take its tole on my eyes. I've been more aware of the aging process lately and I hear it starts to show around your eyes first. So I've decided to look after them better, starting with using this product. The great thing about this product is that you can apply it in two different ways.
If you are looking to take 15 minutes out for your day to relax and unwind you can soak to cotton pads in the lotion and place them on your eyes. Lay back and let this do all the work. Alternatively if you are looking for a quick fix you can put some of this onto a cotton pad and sweep it around your eyes. As I wear a bit of eye make-up this can sometimes add to my eye irritations, especially when you get an annoying bit of mascara in them. Using this product has helped to sooth these problems.
I think next I'll be opting for something to help with dark circles and fine lines, start as you mean to go on right?

  1. My mum is a Liz Earle hoarder. When I've not been sleeping well and feeling run down (like now) I love to apply this to some cotton pads and rest with these on my eyes. I always feel refreshed afterwards. Not sure if I look refreshed though.
