I’m always interested to see what the next Primark look book has to offer. I was really impressed with their Spring/Summer 2014 look book so I was expecting great things from this one. The Trinity Leeds Primark is great to shop in due to the fact it has more of a shop vibe rather than jumble sale vibe of the other one. I’m looking forward to hunting some of these pieces down.
This Autumn/Winter has got a definite grunge vibe with an added mix of 60’s. Next season is all about mixing up your decades to make a very eclectic wardrobe. The hero pieces for me have to be the outerwear – this season is all about over-sized. Cocoon coats, fake shaggy fur and shearling details are going to be big. I’ll be on the look out for the graduated purple faux fur jacket – this will look great with a pair of skinny jeans and ankle boots in the autumn. Equally I think the cocoon coat will be a style I’ll be reaching for, this lime green number above will bring a pop of colour to any outfit.
Other pieces I’m looking forward to seeing in the flesh are the short culotte style trousers and the footwear. In fact the whole look in the first image is so on point, I’ll be buying it all. I love the new season reds too, we’ll all have a bit of it in our wardrobes, guaranteed! This PVC red miniskirt is a great way to introduce colour and texture into your AW14 wardrobe.
What are you most looking forward to wearing this Autumn/Winter?
