Review: La Roche-Posay

la roche-posay review

I’ve heard so many good things about La Roche-Posay that I had to try their products out for myself. Luckily Boots came to the rescue in the form of a 3 for 2 deal so I knew it was the right time to pick them up. The combination of products I’ve been using for the past couple of weeks has really agreed with my skin. It’s always a little touch and go when you try new skincare, don’t you think?

I start off my routine with the Physiological Cleansing Gel, it’s a great cleanser for after you’ve initially removed your make-up. It picks up any make-up or residue that is left on your skin and gets rid of it. The mascara you thought you’d got rid of? It’s gone with this product. It leaves me with clean and smooth skin.

Next I apply the Effaclar Duo, this is to help with my blemishes. It claims to fade blemishes on your skin and also control any oily areas. I have to say my oily t-zone is much more controlled since using this, I’m not having to blot as often. as for the fading properties, only time will tell but I have high hopes for this product.

Lastly I apply Effaclar AI which is a breakout corrector. I’m still prone to spots, even in my mid-twenties. I’m always on the look out for products that can reduce or dispel a breakout.  You apply this to the effected areas until the blemishes disappear. I have to say that I’ve noticed a lot less breakouts since I started applying this, when I can feel it under my skin I slap this straight on and it doesn’t seem to surface. I’d really recommend this as a three step process for anyone who has similar sking to mine. Have you tried any La Roche-Posay products?
