London Fashion Week: Edeline Lee SS15Sunday, 21 September 2014
Edeline Lee is always an invite I'm excited to receive - I've been to her presentations for the past few seasons and they are always one of my favourite parts of London Fashion Week. This season was no different.
Stepping into a tent that had been put up at the back of Somerset House we were greeted with 6 'boxes' containing models and a whole lot of colour. The presentation itself was in association with paint brand Little Greene. The boxes were lit by some fabulous lightening too, so I managed to get some stunning images. I couldn't choose between a lot of them, so I've left a good selection at the bottom of this blog post.
The collection itself was very different from what I've seen Lee produce before. The tailored all white outfit was a nod to what seems to be the trend of SS15. I loved the grey trench with peekaboo detailing on the sleeves, adding the little something extra really makes the humble trench stand out. There were plenty of amazing dresses within this collection, that had a real wearable factor. Day dresses and evening dresses meant that Lee's collection could dress a variety of different women.
I particularly liked the white and yellow sleeveless shift style dress, this would look great in Spring. This was a collection that appealed to a wider audience and experimented with colour to great success, I look forward to seeing what February brings.
