Day one is always such a crazy day – the initial buzz of fashion week means that the cobbles are pretty busy. I had quite a few shows, unfortunately some clashed but I did end up seeing Bora Aksu, One To Watch and Jean Pierre-Braganza. I’ll be posting full reports on these shows over the coming days. The plan was to blog everyday while I was here but I’ve been so busy that I just haven’t had time. I thought I should make the most of being here, live in the moment and blog later.
I went for a monochrome look on day one – I know I had a lot of running around to do so I opted for flats. Although they did end up hurting me by the end of the day. I thought this t-shirt from Topshop was fun and a good twist on the famous saying. I teamed it up with these checked cigarette trousers, also from Topshop. These are such a versatile piece and are so easy to dress up or down. Oh and did I mention comfy? My coat, hat and necklace were all from Primark. Is it a crime to wear Primark at fashion week? Probably but I don’t care. I’m sure you’ve been reading about my love for Primark stand out items at the moment and these three really made my outfit pop. Lastly my shoes were from TK Maxx for the grand sum of £15! They look identical to some I’ve seen in Topshop so I was pretty impressed with my find. Flats seem to be having a bit of a moment but that doesn’t mean they have to be boring.
At the end of the day myself a few other bloggers went for a lovely, well deserved meal in Covent Garden. It was just what we needed after such a busy day.
