Fashion: Fall Fashion Challenge with Junction 32
On Saturday the lovely people down at Junction 32
invited myself and three other bloggers for an afternoon of shopping. When we arrived we went to grab some brunch in the lovely Thornton’s Cafe. After fill my face with chocolates and tea, I armed myself with the £100 voucher that was gifted to us and I was ready to shop. My particular brief was Autumn/Winter office wear, well having never been one for traditional office wear I based my entire look on a pair of shoes I saw in the window of Mango. These beautiful brogues with studded detail gave me an idea for an outfit, so off I went in search.
There are quite a few shops to chose from here, some I wouldn’t shop in on the high street but something about the bargains to be had pulled me in. My next stop was Next, where I managed to pick up a lovely slogan t-shirt. The slogan had to be French, that’s office wear for me. I picked up my faux fur stole from Select – something about fur on an unexpected outfit makes it a little decadent, don’t you think? Lastly I found myself back at Mango and trying on this lovely pinstripe wool suit, it’s not something I’d ever thought to try but I reckon it would be great together and as separates. I feel like I belong on Wall Street, what do you think? The great thing about all the women that took part is that we all had such different styles and it really does show the range of pieces you can pick up here.
To finish the day we took part in a little photo shoot, my particular favourite had to be posing on the little carousel. We looked like giants next to the little kids who jumped off it just before this picture was taken.
