In the Spotlight: George Home

Having only been in my house eight months I’m still constantly adding new things. I was really excited when George contacted me about working together on an interiors feature. This is my first taster post of a couple of pieces I got for the living room.
I opted for a fake Christmas tree for my home, less mess to clear up after. However I really do miss the smell of a real christmas tree. With this in mind I picked up a Frosted Spruce Yankee Candle. I’ll be lighting this to make sure my home is filled with that festive smell. They have a great selection of candles, I have to admit like most women in their 20’s I’ve become obsessed with candles. I’ve got one burning at home most days.

I’ve also been able to update my sideboard with a few more additions. We have a vinyl player on here – we are always searching the local charity shops for vinyls. I picked up some Fleetwood Mac on a recent trip. I already had this quote postcard and wanted to frame it, this is a quick way to fill your room with personality, if you don’t have any pictures to add. This dark wood frame goes with the overall theme of my living room too. I noticed Megan had added this amazing lamp to her room and as soon as I saw it I knew it would fit right in on my sideboard. I thought it was really unusual and added a little corner of interest to my room. It throws out a good amount of light too.

In the new year I’ll be showing you the transformation of my master bedroom, after lots of planning we are slowly getting there. I can’t wait to share it with you all! Where do you buy your interiors pieces from?
