Review: Paul Mitchell Thickening Shampoo + ConditionerWednesday, 3 December 2014
I popped along to the Paul Mitchell event the other week at Quebec Hotel in Leeds and was lucky enough to walk away with the thickening shampoo and conditioner in the Lemon Sage scent. I have to say the smell is amazing and fills the whole bathroom whenever I use them, even my boyfriend has been using them. As a bonus it also has peppermint and tea tree as ingredients so it's really uplifting too.
These two promise to add volume to your hair. This is a property I'm always on the look out for in a product because although I have long hair it's very fine. I've actually noticed more bounce in my hair at the roots, I sometimes help it along with the root booster if I'm going out. But for everyday it really adds an extra little something.
Apparently Panthenol is also a main ingredient which helps to strengthen every strand of your hair. Again this is something that is going to help me out as with long hair comes great responsibility. As in it's a bloody pain in the ass to brush! Especially if you brush through when wet I tend to get a lot of breakages. I've noticed the ends of my hair looking a little more like they should since using these together. Maybe with prolonged use I can hold off that hair cut a little bit longer?
All in all I'd really recommend these as a pick me up for your hair. If not for the benefits then buy them for the smell!
