Fashion: Lambert’s Yard Leeds
At the weekend I popped into Leeds and had to drop in on Lambert’s Yard
. I haven’t been back into the store since I got my nails done at the WAH pop-up
before Christmas. I wanted to have a proper look around and see what the store had to offer.
Lambert’s Yard is a shop, event space and much more. They stock up and coming designers plus some hand-picked established names. You won’t find these anywhere else in Leeds. With the city saturated by the high-street it’s nice to have somewhere to pick up something a little different, that you won’t see everyone and their dog wearing. I loved the rail of clothing from D’Albert, white leather and pink mohair in a skirt? What more could a girl need!
For me Lambert’s Yard is bringing something to the fashion and lifestyle scene that was desperately missing. They plan to offer cultural and creative events for people to come and get involved with too, creating that sense of community. It has the personal touch when it comes to service too. How many times have you been shopping to be greeted, no grunted at by an un-friendly assistant? Not at Lambert’s Yard, the staff take the time to talk to you and give you the bespoke service you don’t really get anymore. Above all though it feels different, exciting and I can’t wait to see what they do this year.

I had to take a cheeky mirror snap of my outfit – do you like my coat? I feel like a fashionable marshmallow when I wear it.
