Fashion: London Fashion Week Outfit Planning

London Fashion Week Outfit Planning

I can't believe London Fashion Week is nearly here again. It doesn't seem two minutes since I was last dragging my suitcase on to the train bound for Kings Cross. I always seem to overpack but I think Fashion Week is the perfect excuse for taking too much to wear, don't you think? That being said it's hard picking up a case that weighs more than you, never mind dragging it on all manner of public transport. This season I'm going to make a conscious effort to plan properly to avoid this situation.

I thought I'd share one of the outfits I've already planned. I have everything pictured apart from the stan smiths, they are currently on their way to me. I'm just praying they come before I have to leave for London. I can already tell I'll see a million and one people wearing these at fashion week, what can I say, this is a trend I've fully bought into. I thought these were the perfect accompaniment to the formal suit, it gives it a little bit of an edge and keeps it looking too 'dressy.'
My wool suit is a collaboration between La Redoute and ba&sh. I love ba&sh as a label because they not only make beautiful clothes but pieces that every woman would love to wear. The great thing about a suit like this is its versatility. I've worn the blazer with jeans and a t-shirt, the trousers look perfect with a camisole top and heels for a night out. I figured taking something like this would minimise my suitcase size.
It's lucky that french slogan t-shirts are in, I have a couple in my wardrobe already. My favourite has to be this grey Sezane number, like the trainers it adds an edge to an otherwise formal two-piece. What do you think to my first outfit of choice? Keep checking back as I'll be sharing lots of exciting content from fashion week over the next week or two.
