London Fashion Week: What I Wore Day 4
I missed out on taking an outfit shot of my look on day 3 because the weather was just so terrible! Anyway I managed to get my day 4 outfit with a little help from Laura from That’s So Yesterday.
I was really feeling the while 70s vibe for day 4, I’m super excited that the trend will continue into AW15. I wore this paisley print dress from Glamorous, when I saw it on the site I feel in love with the print and mix of colours. I was on the hunt for more dresses of this length and this was a great addition to my wardrobe. I like that it also has long sleeves which makes it the perfect winter day dress. I’ve even taken to wearing a long sleeve top underneath to keep me toasty.
As I’ve mentioned it’s been so cold in London, so I thought it was best to add another layer to my outfit. This fur gilet was the perfect match for the dress because of the similar use of colour. It was great to snuggle up inside this when I was feeling the cold too much.
The main reason I’d been on the hunt for these types of dresses was because I have been loving my River Island thigh boots. They’ve pretty much not left my feet since I got them. I find that dresses like these ones look really good with the boots, so I keep adding to my collection.
A statement coat is a great way to make your outfit pop. I threw on my French Connection camel number, I absolutely love this coat. Not only is it a classic piece but it keeps the elements at bay. I finished off my look with my orange Radley bag, it’s such a cute little bag but I manage to fit everything I need inside.
What do you all think to the 70s trend? Are you happy it’s sticking around?
