In The Spotlight: House of Fraser BikinisSaturday, 23 May 2015
With my summer holiday a mere 6 weeks away, my mind turns to what I'm going to wear on the beach. I've started with a healthy diet and exercise (but more on that later) but there are a few other factors that I have to consider when buying a bikini.
Luckily House of Fraser came to my rescue with this lovely bikini by Lepel. I'd never heard of the brand before but thought it looked like something I'd normally go for. I wanted something that was bright and vivid, I always find this looks best with a tan don't you? This definitely ticked the colourful box, I really loved the chevron print and added button detail.
Another big factor for me is that the set I buy has mix and match sizes. I'm not sure I've met many people who are the same size on top as they are on the bottom. Buying bikinis has proved difficult in the past as I've always need a different size in the top. House of Fraser have a great selection of mix and match bikinis, so I didn't have that issue.
Lastly I'm always looking out for a bikini top with some support, I can't really get away with wearing a triangle top anymore and if I'm wearing the bikini for a significant amount of hours I need it to be able to support me. This bikini top is not only longline but it also has underwire, making it a double whammy in the hold them up category. The halter neck strap is adjustable and you can remove it if you want to get rid of those pesky tan lines. I'd really recommend this bikini if you have a bigger bust, don't think you have to resort to rubbish swimwear.
What do you think to my new leopard print beach towel, working as a nice background here don't you think?
Oh and don't forget your sunnies and suncream!
