On the last day of London Fashion Week I attended the Tata Naka presentation, taking place in the Elms Lesters Painting Rooms. It was the perfect setting for the colourful presentation which was inspired by South American culture. Twin sisters Tamara and Natasha graduated in 2000 from Central Saint Martins and have gone from strength to strength ever since. I love attending these types of presentations because you really feel like you are immersed in the experience. We were treated to Margaritas which only added to the ambience.

The collection itself was inspired by the works of Columbian Novelist Gabriel Garcia Marquez and the Mexican painter Diego Riviera. We saw motfis from some of his paintings including those from his most famous painting Calla Lillies. You can really see the historical and political references through out. The colour palette of browns, burgundies and cream are contrasted with yellow, blue and silver. The cut outs bring a sense of modernity to the collection. The jackets were the real hero pieces for me though, the white double breasted jacket with colourful trim had to be my favourite.
The beauty look for this collection was simple but effective. The red eyeshadow isn't the easiest to pull off but if you keep the rest of the make-up toned down this could be your go to look. The brown lipstick is right up my street - I'm just going to run out and buy some more...
