Fashion: Autumn Outfit

As the weather has been getting progressively colder my mind turns to my autumn wardrobe. Ok, thats a lie I've been thinking about autumn for a while. Although I love the summer months, autumn is my favourite season for fashion.

I based this outfit around this fabulous checked number from Topshop. I'm fed up of sticking to dark colours in the colder months, why not add a pop of colour? I thought I'd add two options for the top half, to see how you could dress this up or down. I'm still not done with statement t-shirts, they have to be good ones though! None of these cheesy one liners. I loved this french inspired tee from Whistles, the quality of their t-shirts are second to none. I have washed my other t-shirts from them over 20 times and they are still in the same condition as the day I bought them. This strappy camisole from Topshop is great way to dress this look up. I picked this out because it is a little bit different and it would even look great poking out from underneath slouchy sweaters.
A good leather trouser is a staple in any women's wardrobe. These Reiss leather trousers are a little bit on the pricey side but totally worth it for the amount of wear you'll get out of them. This Charlotte Simone popsicle scarf is forever on my wishlist, the deep burgundy colour is the perfect partner for the checked coat. This Radley backpack is a dream, I saw a lots of fashionable ladies carrying them around at London Fashion Week. I need something that can carry a decent amount of stuff and I think this would do just the trick.
