Day three of London Fashion Week, we had better weather… thank god! This was my last day in London, so I went for the comfort factor that came in the form of this lovely striped dress.
On the Sunday I managed to wear top to toe La Redoute, I think I should give myself a gold star for that one. I was leaving London at around half 6 – so I had quite a lot to cram into my day. I saw the Apu Jan AW16 show at Freemasons Hall in the morning which had some really impressive knitwear pieces. And in the afternoon I popped along to the Belstaff presentation with the lovely Abbie from Fashion Tatt – we had to stop at Pret for a pit-stop first, obvs.
There is so much green around for Spring, I really like how fresh it looks and ig reminds me of warmer months. There is lots of green in the new La Redoute Spring/Summer collection but I opted for this striped dress with zip detail. This a-line style dress really suits my shape and I tend to go for something a little shorter to make me look taller. A pair of thick black tights and PVC black boots kept my lower half warmer, it can be cold stood around waiting for shows. I love these black boots, they go with so many different outfits but they are also a real statement piece. These boots also come in red, which I’m tempted to get also.
The cream jacket by Ettienne Deroeux finished off my look. This jacket is 100% wool so it kept me really warm despite its Spring like aesthetic. I’ve worn this jacket with a polo-neck and flared jeans too which is a little bit more of what I like to call a ‘grown-up’ look.
