Smashbox Make-up

Smashbox is a brand I don’t know much about – I’ve used one of their products before which was their Photo Finish Primer. This seems to be the product from them that everyone has heard of. So I was pleased when a few more of their range landed on my matt for me to try out.
First we have their Photo Finish Lash Primer, this primer is great for when you want a real full false lash effect. Ever have that issue of flaky mascara that you’re brushing off your face by the end of the day? Not if you apply this baby before you put on your mascara. This also conditions your lashes, so they are getting a bit of pampering while you wear it.
I followed this up with their Indecent Exposure mascara in Deep Black. This actually has a stretchable formula which helps to lengthen your lashes and add some drama. It’s hard to see the image below (damn glasses) but my lashes have a great lift to them and have a kick out effect at the sides. This makes your eyes look bigger and gives you that doe-eyed effect.
Next we move to the lips. We all know we are meant to apply lip liner before lipstick right? But it can be so hard to find the perfect shade to match your new lippy. Luckily Smashbox have come up with the perfect solution – their clear lip liner. This secret weapon helps to prevent that annoying bleeding you can get with some lipsticks. It also has a handy built in sharpener so it’s always ready for you to use.
Lastly I finished off my look with one of their lipsticks in the shade ‘Panorama Pink.’ I’m not usually a pink girl but I just so happened to be wearing a dress in the same shade so I thought I’d try it. For me lipsticks need to have staying power and not dry my lips out too much. This ticked all of the boxes even after eating and drinking it stayed put – with a little help from its friend the lip liner.
I’d definitely recommend their products for anyone looking for make-up bag staples. Have you tried any of their products before?
