A Day In ParisSaturday, 2 April 2016
This week I travelled to Paris for work. It has fast become one of my favourite cities to visit. There is so much to see and do. And of course so much bread and cheese to eat.
I was there to attend a blogger photoshoot with the lovely Audrey of Be Frassy fame, who also took the pictures you see here. Thanks Audrey! After the photoshoot we had a little wander around Paris before stopping to take some pictures at the Palais Royal. I've seen this particular back drop in lots of other bloggers outfit pictures and I couldn't pass it by without stopping and getting some of my own.
As I was there representing work, most of my outfit is of course from La Redoute. I really love this corduroy jacket with little fur collar. It's got a total seventies vibe and I find myself reaching for it time and time again.
Slogan t-shirts can go oh so wrong, but I love this one which eludes to french style. You can't see it in the picture but it also has little blue white and red striped cuffs on the sleeves. I find myself wearing it quite a lot lately. As you can see it looks great with jeans, these ones are also from La Redoute. They are super high waisted and skinny so it sucks everything in which is exactly what I need at the moment after an all inclusive holiday.
My lace-up court shoes are from Zara and really have to be one of the most painful pairs of shoes I own. If I want to wear these I have to know I'm not going far or I carry trainers with me (I changed straight into mine after these pictures were taken). Don't you just hate that? You love a pair of shoes but hardly wear them due to the pain inflicted, #firstworldproblems.
Lastly I finished off my look with this red scarf from Topshop. I've worn this non-stop since I bought it. It just finishes off an outfit nicely. I'm thinking about doing a guide to Paris after my next visit, what do you think?
