This week I was in London for a couple of days with work. We were down for our High Summer press day at The Sanderson and we also had a blogger ambassador day. Of course I had to wear top to toe La Redoute, not a problem for me as I’m constantly adding to my wishlist at work. Perfect for keeping an eye out for when my favourite pieces go into the sale. I decided to go for comfort as I knew it was going to be a long day.
I seem to have a thing for navy and white at the moment, it is a good break from black I suppose. Catching the 7am train from Leeds down to London, in a sea of black and grey suits, my shoes acted as a silver beacon. I was getting quite a few looks, take that boring business types! These are my business lady shoes and I’m not afraid to wear them. In all seriousness though, I love these shoes. They are really comfy and are really light too. If you would like to check them out you can find them here.
I thought I’d make the most of the terrace room we had at the Sanderson. We weren’t blessed with good weather unfortunately but the tiny break we did have I managed to grab these pictures. You will have to excuse the creased state of my trousers. I had travelled to London in them and then worked a full day. My mum will be so ashamed of their creased state (hi!), I’m seriously thinking about investing in a hand held steamer. Anyone else with me?
On a side note I would recommend staying at the Sanderson, it has some amazing art features which makes it really a really unique stay. You can also book in for their Mad Hatter’s afternoon tea, in the Courtyard Garden. I’ll leave you to discover the lift for yourself…..
