Finding the Perfect Jeans
I think it’s something that everyone goes through. The search for the perfect jeans…. Denim is a staple in my wardrobe now. There was a time in my life when I never wore jeans. In fact people used to make a comment if they ever did see me with a pair on. But now, most of my wardrobe revolves around my trusty denim. There is something about pulling on a pair of well-fitting jeans that makes you feel at ease and ready to take on the day.
I have denim in all shapes and sizes; flares, straight, skinny, kick flares and boyfriend. I didn’t really have a favourite until now. These Levi 501s were bought on a whim after seeing so many other bloggers rocking them, including my lovely friend Lizzy
. I had started to pin outfits involving the 501s over on my Pinterest
and this helped me bite the bullet.
These jeans are a super relaxed fit without being overly baggy and unflattering. I haven’t been able to take them off since I bought them, in fact I’m wearing them right now as I type this. The great thing is they go with anything, I thought I’d keep it casual for this outfit though. I’m wearing a knit vest top from La Redoute, the now in-famous blue pleather from Zara and my white leather Converse courtesy of Office. This outfit is perfect for a day of shopping or running errands.
It seems fitting that an outfit of blue is photographed by the River Aire, this day myself and Matt managed to grab a break in the rain to shoot this outfit. I felt really comfortable in it and I think this shows through the pictures here. What do you think to my outfit? Do you have a favourite pair of jeans?
Thanks to Matt
for shooting these pictures!
