After an extremely long hiatus (you know life just gets in the way and the blog had to take a little break), I’m back with a little round up of all the products I’ve been loving at the moment. I like reading these types of posts on other blogs, mostly because I like to have a little nosey at what people have been buying. But it’s also a great way to discover new products I’d like to try myself. I hope you find something new to try here.
NYX Liquid Suede in Soft Spoken
I can’t get enough of the Liquid Suede range from NYX. I tend to go for more brown toned colours, as this is what I wear the most. Top tip, if you use a lipliner with this and apply on top this stuff won’t budge perfect for when you have to be out all day and you don’t have time for multiple applications.
NailsInc Gel One Coat in Chiltern Park
I’ve become one of those really impatient people who can’t wait for their nails to dry or I don’t leave myself much time to paint them. In steps NailsInc’s Gel one coat, I’m always pretty skeptical when it comes to nail varnish claiming to be one coat, but I was pleasantly surprised with this. Not only does it take just one coat but the finish has a lovely shiny to it, leaving your nails looking tip top.
Origins GinZing Face Mask
I’ve been travelling a lot lately and had a few weekends out which means my skin has not been happy with me. This face mask feels so cooling, it brings my skin back to life and gives it a little glow too.
Rodial Dragon’s Blood Hyaluronic Tonic
I’m turning 28 very soon (eek) which means that my money doesn’t go on new lipsticks anymore, but skincare. This tonic has plumping properties that can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also also perfect for setting your make-up, the ‘dragon’s blood’ helps to protect your skin from environmental damage. Perfect for use on holiday!
Botanics Body Brush
I took to Twitter the other day to express how much I find body brushing painful – anyone else? Once you get used to it, I’m told it becomes less painful but I’m not there yet! The brush really helps to change the look and texture of your skin. I’ve always been pretty blessed with smooth skin but this helps to smooth it out even more. All you need to do is use the brush dry and brushing it over your body in long sweeping motions. I give particular attention to my arms and the tops of my legs, it’s been known to do wonders for cellulite.
