It’s very important to have a bag that’s both practical and chic for work. Luckily for me Radley have come to my rescue in the form of their Beaufort bag from their AW16 range. One of the things I look for in a work bag is the flexibility of two ways of carrying. A long shoulder strap for when I’m carrying a lot around with me and a carry handle for lighter days.
The colour ‘woodland’ is great for the autumn months, I stayed away from the classic black so the bag would make a bit more of a statement with any outfits I team it up with. I really like the subtle branding on the bag too, I don’t want something that screams the brand out for the world to see. I also love the way it has a magnetic closure, no need for faffy zips – hurrah!
This is of course an edit version of my essentials for work. I’m NEVER without my phone, I’ve just upgraded recently and I’m loving the new size. With my job being in social media I’m forever checking my phone. My headphones are a must, my commute would be too boring without my favourite podcasts to listen to.
I’m trying to read more so I am keeping my Kindle in my bag to remind me to do just that. I’ve just read 3 books while on holiday and now I’m looking for something else to sink my teeth into. Any suggestions?
I usually carry a few beauty products with me in case I go somewhere after work. A little solid perfume from Diptique is perfect to pop in my bag. I also carry this lip balm from Nuxe and there are usually around 3 lipsticks in my bag at one time. This one from Revlon is nude/brown shade and perfect for quickly applying before heading out after work. This water spray from Eau Thermale Avene is a life saver for combating dry skin – who else hates work air conditioning?
