I absolutely loved their Winter Terrace – which looked the hygge part. With heaters and faux fur throws you can enjoy the outside while still remaining snug as a bug in a rug (haven’t used that in ages!).
The cocktails were absolutely divine. I always judge the cocktails on the fact that they can make a decent mojito and margarita (which happens to be my favourite) which I’m pleased to tell you they do. I had one too many but it was the christmas holidays so it would be rude not to. I’d say this is the perfect place to come for Saturday afternoon drinks after a hard days shopping!
I had an avocado salad (which was actually made up for me as they had run out of the other salad option) which was lovely and light and just what you need to get you in the mood for your main meal. For my main I went for the fish and chips, with pea puree. I was actually the worst blogger ever and started eating them before I had taken any pictures. I’m blaming the cocktails for that one. The batter on the fish was light and the chips were ‘proper.’ What I mean by this is they were a nice chunky chip, nothing fancy just really tasty.
All in all it was a lovely dining experience and the staff are really on the ball. I was surprised that the menu wasn’t more expensive, the location can often drive prices up. I would highly recommend this for a date night or for cocktails out with the girls.
