A Day in The Life Of A Part-Time Blogger with NeomWednesday, 1 February 2017
I'm very excited to talk about the first fragrance from Neom which launches today! I thought I'd show you how it fits into my 'part-time blogger' routine. Having a full time job and running a blog can be pretty intense. I don't want to neglect my blog but sometimes sitting at a computer is the last thing I want to do when I get home from work on a night. Luckily I have a close group of blogger ladies who keep me inspired and cheer me on (it's been known for some of us to come back to 100+ messages in our whatsapp group).
We make time in our hectic schedules to shoot our outfits on a weekend. Really we can only manage to do this once every few weeks and so we try to pack a lot into a day. Usually I'll wake up and get myself a cup of (yorkshire!) tea, then sit down a plan what I need to shoot. Then it's time to get ready - this can take a while as I don't always plan outfits the night before. I spritz myself with Neom's Energy Burst perfume before I leave the house. Created using 17 of the purest essential oils, this is a truly natural perfume. After spraying this I take a couple of deep breaths and feel a little more of that get up and go.
After getting ready I head out to shoot outfits with my blogger ladies. We usually pair up and take it in turns to shoot each others outfits. After a while its time for a gossip and another well deserved cup of tea, after we've had a full de-brief we all head home. I like to sit down and edit my pictures when I get home if I can. It's one of the more laborious jobs in blogging so I like to get it out of the way. i keep my energy burst within arms reach for when I'm getting too tired. I also like to plan more posts for the week ahead; because I work full time planning when I'll shoot the pictures is key here. There you have it, that's a day in the life of a part-time blogger. Anyone else out there holding down a full-time job and a blog?
