Discovering Models OwnMonday, 27 March 2017
The other week I was invited to the new Models Own store opening in Leeds Trinity and what an event it was! The guys at Models Own were super generous and gifted lots of their products for me to try when I got home. To be honest I'd only ever used their nail varnish before so I really didn't know what to expect when it came to other products from their range.
I decide to create a little bit of a more 'dramatic' look with the products I had. I mixed these in with some of my everyday products, so of course this isn't everything on my face but used them to take the look up a notch.
I started with their Flawless Colour Correcting Concealer in a green shade. I tend to get a few red patches on my face in the morning after I've washed my face, so I used this to combat it. It blends in really smoothly and does calm down the over-all redness.
I also used their Now Brow! Eyebrow Tint Kit in shade 04. I wasn't sure how I'd get on with this as it seemed a little messy. But I was actually really impressed with the shade and staying power. I just had to brush them out before and then applied the tint with an angled brush. I'd really recommend trying this product.
Using their Domed contouring brush (it has my name engraved on it! how crazy is that?!) I contoured and highlighted my face using their Sculpt & Glow palette in Gold Spotlight. The colour pay-off on this palette is amazing for the price. If you're unsure about trying contouring I'd recommend getting this palette as you can try it out and not spend too much money in the process. To finish off my bronzed look I used the Sculpt & Glow Shimmer Bronzing Powder in the shade Light Golden Brown. This is CRAZY GOOD. I love it and I've been using it every day since.
To finish off I used their Lix Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Berry Cool. I love the deep colour of this lipstick and it smells of mint. It has a slight plumping effect too, so all in all a great long-lasting matte lip.
You can see the finished look below - side-bar on this, how do people take decent pictures of beauty looks? I feel like its really hard but here I am, I'm even not wearing glasses! Have any of my readers tried Models Own products?
