In Search of Volume with Show Beauty

I’m always on the look out for products that give my hair volume. Despite having long hair it’s actually pretty thin, so I’m all about those products that promise volume. I’ve been using Show Beauty products for a while but I’ve never used any of their shampoo and conditioners, so I was excited to try them. One of the best things about the Show products is the scent, they all have a lovely caramel smell. Great for wafting your hair around and catching the scent during the day.

The shampoo and conditioner themselves have a really nice formula. The shampoo gets really foamy (is that a thing?), I can’t stand a shampoo that doesn’t do anything. I want it to feel like it’s stripping out all the product build up and anything else that finds its way onto my hair.  The conditioner feels really luxurious and it leaves your hair feeling really soft and tangle free, perfect for long hair like mine that gets tangled in the smallest gust of wind.
Whenever I’m reviewing hair products I feel like I can’t tell if it’s making a difference until I’ve used it for a really long time. I have to say though, after I’ve blow dried my hair these products give a certain texture that means I do actually get a bit of lift to it. Having that bit a texture to it means that the volume stays there for longer, anything that leaves my hair too shiny is often no good for creating a decent hair style.

I finish off my look with a spritz of the ‘hair perfume’ above to keep it smelling good, I have to say there is something about ‘hair perfume’ that makes me feel SUPER luxurious. Who knew it was a thing? Below you can see said voluminous hair in action, but mainly me shaking my head like a mad woman.

  1. I love the scent of Show products, I don't use products that lather a lot as the sulphates strip my hair too much. I'm currently using Nioxin and I think it has definitely helped with hair loss 🙂 x

Luckily the whole range is sulphate free 🙂
