How To Get Beach Body Ready

beach body ready products

Have you got a body, do you know where a beach is? Then you are beach body ready! Sorry for the click bait title. But it had to be done. I'm going to talk about a few products that help me get ready for the beach.

First up on my list is the body brush. Slightly like a torture implement but it actually does wonders for my skin. It's great for the old cellulite on the backs of your legs and bum, but be careful as it can hurt the first few times you use it. Brush in circular motions starting at your feet moving up towards the heart. It stimulates the lymphatic system - making sure there is no congestion or a build up of toxins. The perfect way to get your body ready for some sun.

Next up is thisworks skin deep dry leg oil. After the long winter months of legs need some real TLC. I obviously shave a lot more frequently in summer and this takes its toll on my legs. This oil is super moisturising and soaks in right away. It has 9 essential oils and really leaves your skin feeling hydrated. Not only are your pins beach ready but this is great for anytime you want to get your legs out. I've had a few people comment on my legs after using this....

I like to keep my hair looking tousled with a sea salt spray, this one from John Frieda is perfect. It has a really 'beachy' smell and is perfect if you have blonde parts in your hair like I do. This is meant to be used on damp hair but I spray it into dry hair and scrunch up for a little more texture.

You've got to keep your nails looking great in summer and I really love the Body Shop's Colour Crush nail varnishes. They have a wide range of colours, look really glossy on the nail and have staying power.

I don't wear makeup on the beach because.... well I don't have to explain why. The only thing on my face will be SPF. But I do like to use Benefit's Ready, Set, Brow! It keeps my brows in check and allows you to keep your shape without having to use any heavy products.

Lastly I love to have a spring water spray with me. My favourite is this Eau Thermale Avene one , which is perfect for sensitive skin. Keeping cool is essential when you're on the beach and this is such a handy thing to have in your beach bag. I like to take this out in the evenings on holiday too as it's perfect for setting your make-up.
