If people ask me what my best feature is I have to say my hair. I get lots of compliments on it – big thanks to Laura from Harlow’s Den for laying down all the groundwork and listening to what I want. I thought I’d take you through some of the products I use to keep it in tip top condition and to give it a rose gold hue.
I have obviously had the bleaching done professionally at the salon but I was really after a rose gold colour to my hair. I picked up Bleach London’s Shampoo and Conditioner. When I get in the shower I make sure I get a good dollop of the Rose Shampoo and work it into my hair. Then I leave it while I wash my body/shave etc. Leaving it on a little bit longer than you normally would makes sure your hair takes on some of the colour but because it’s a diluted version of the colour you aren’t left with a shocking pink. After washing this off I apply the conditioner and leave it on for about 5 minutes, this just helps add to the overall look and feel of my hair. To ramp it up every now and again I use the Bleach London Rose Dye; I leave this on for 20 minutes just to give my hair a little more of a tint.
Once a week I’ve been using Show Beauty’s Repair Treatment Mask, this little pot of wonder nourishes my hair and leaves it looking in the best conditioner. Using something like this is always important when you’ve used bleach on your hair. With quinoa protein, pro vitamin B5, caviar and white truffle this is a little pot of luxury for your hair.
Once I get out of the shower I use my trusty tangle teaser and use Show Beauty’s Grooming Balm. My hair has a tendency to go a little bit frizzy so it needs a little helping hand to keep it looking smooth and shiny. If I have the time I like to leave my hair to air dry, using the least amount of heat on my hair as possible. To add a curl I use my trusty Cloud Nine hair wand – this is one of my most used hair tools. Worth the money, for sure.
