Switching Up Your Winter Skincare

Switching Up Your Winter Skincare
When Winter hits a few things happen to me. My skin gets that annoying mix of incredibly dry and oily at the same time. My lips resemble that of a reptile. My hands seem to be devoid of all moisture. So when I notice a change in weather I add a few things into my routine to help combat the winter weather.

This Glossier Mask Duo is a new addition to my weekly routine, I picked these up when I went to the Glossier pop-up store. You can get both of these masks for £30 if you buy them together. The Mega Greens Galaxy Pack is the detoxifying one. It’s clay based and is a great little face mask for giving your skin a proper cleanse. The Moisturising Moon Mask has honey and aloe in the formula which help to nourish your skin, while the liquorice root and lemon extracts help to brighten your skin. Keep them on for 20 minutes to get the full effect.
The NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Oil is the perfect product to help your body survive the long winter months. Everything tends to feel so dry, so when I step out of the shower I reach for this every time.
Niod’s Low Viscosity Cleaning Ester is the luxury way to take off your make-up. It is an amazing product that breaks down your make-up with ease without stripping, keeping your skin in tip-top condition.
Malin + Goetz Lip Moisturiser has been a savour over the past couple of weeks, it contains absorbent fatty acids which help to nourish your lips and leaves them feeling soft. Ready for that statement lip at the Christmas party!
Caudalie’s Hand and Nail cream is a permanent feature in my hand bag now. A few years ago a suffered a weird hand eczema which made it impossible to do anything, so now I’m paranoid about keeping my hands moisturised.
What do you like to add into your routine when the weather changes?
