April Goals

April Goals

This year hasn’t been the best so far. Not going to go into that but it means my little space of the internet has become a little sidelined. I noticed lots of posts about goals of the month, I thought I’d start doing this to just get my thoughts out there. Of course we are well into April now but I thought it was worth posting anyway!

1. Kitchen Renovations need to get seriously underway. We started painting our cupboards in February but we haven’t really done much since. We need to step up our game I think. Which involves a new floor, tiles, worktops and storage solutions. I want this done within the next couple of months so I can start enjoying the kitchen more.
2. Carry on reading. I’ve managed to read a whole two books already this year, which is good for me. Unless I’m on holiday I don’t tend to read, which is terrible. It’s giving me a much needed break from staring at screens. Please let me know if you have any recommendations for me, I’ve started up a Good Reads account.
3. Carrying on de-cluttering. I know its cliche but I really want to continue to get rid of any clothes/shoes that I don’t like or don’t fit anymore. I’ve been thinking a lot about the way I shop recently. Obviously I’m not a huge fashion blogger who has to have the ‘latest’ thing all of the time. But I am conscience of the clothes I do have and I want to make it a little bit easier for me to get dressed on a morning. Working a 9-5 doesn’t give you lots of time to plan your outfits, so anything that can take the stress out of this gets a thumbs up from me.
4. Start up an Instagram project. I wanted to start a new instagram project back in February but for various reasons this didn’t happen. I’d like to kick this off in May, so this month will be all about starting to get it off the ground. I want to create something that inspires more people and brings back that Instagram community. I won’t say anymore for now!
