There are some things I’ve been reaching for lately. I’m trying to use products up (I have a lot) but these are all fairly new additions.
I was recently invited to the new Hourglass counter at Harvey Nichols in Leeds. I had my makeup done and left with some lovely products to try. The ambient lighting palette is perfect for the summer months, it’s not too over the top and catches the light in just the right places.
Primers are something I’m really trying to get more into. I was told this one is great for people who are prone to blemishes. I must admit since using this under my make-up I’m not getting my usual hormonal break outs.
This is super moisturising and feels really luxurious when you apply it. The harshness of the air con I the office leaves my skin quite dry, this gives me that added moisture on a night. I don’t use this every night as it’s quite thick but a couple of times a week helps my skin out.
My ends are almost proven to getting a little dry through the summer months. I’ve being adding this to my ends and either letting it air dry or blow-drying my hair. It’s made my hair a little more manageable and kept the frizz at bay. Oh and it smells really nice too.
This is meant to be big back stage at fashion week. I only recently picked this up but I’m already a big fan. I was after a moisturiser that would really help with the hydration of my skin. I’ve been getting dry patches which my foundation clings to which is not cute. I’ve noticed my skin has improved already.
With all the warm weather we’ve been having I’ve found myself reaching for this Makeup fixing mist from Pixi time and time again. Perfect for setting your make-up or just freshening up your look through out the day. I spritz a lot of this on my face on a morning (more than I should haha) and set it by using a piece of card to fan my face. I know so technical.
